Brand Photoshoot Plan:

Brand Plan:

For this part of my blog I wanted to write about my plan for my branded photoshoot. I will be explaining what will be involved in the shoot like; lighting type, model, make-up, assistance and time/date of the shoot. The purpose of this shoot like explained in my editorial plan is that 'preparation is key' and so by planning out my time and organization I can kept to time and the plan. The design for the 'Brand' photoshoot is based on my word 'fill' just like the Editorial shoot but it will portray a different meaning of it. Shown throughout my research the word fill, fills up a lot of areas and when researching reference images I found that block imagery was an important aspect of this. I wanted to include bold colours as this also represents my brand M.A.C with using the idea of block colours. Quoted from my previous blog this is why I have chosen this design  'In this design I have gone back to the theme of block colour and fill. I have create a band of colours across the eyes but with squares of orange around both eyes and above along the eyebrows. I have used the same colours on the lips but used the orange as an highlight and to finish off the look a white eyeliner'. To continue this I will be writing about the brand make-up and what will be included.

Time/Date:

Saturday 19th of March from 9am - 12pm in the photography studios on level 0.

Photoshoot Layout:

In my layout for my photoshoot I want to create the whole image as completely full with colour in the whole image. Therefore I want the same layout as my editorial plan but with slight differences to create a blacked out background. I will include two soft box lights either side of my model and the one slightly above my model to create a softer light. However using an assistance I will have someone block there hand over the front main light to create a shadow over my model therefore creating a black outline to highlight the bold make-up on my model. This technique will highlight the bold colours, structured block work and symbolism with the black background my inspirational word fill.

Lighting Type:

As mentioned already I want to create a black outlined look to my model to add to my word fill as the image will be full of colour. The lighting will be the same as shown in the diagram above but I will add in a small black out over the main light along with a black background filter to create this. An example of what I want to achieve is shown below.

Model/Description:

My model have a light completion and tiny features for this look which really fits well for my photoshoot. My model also has very wide set eyes which really stand out well in photos and by adding in dramatic eyelashes to this look it not only contrasts with the background but makes the image stand out more making her perfect for this shoot.

Assistance:

I will need assistance with my photoshoot as when I am shooting I will need help in creating the dark shadow like shown in my 'lighting type section'. I will be trying loads of different angles and I need help when trying and experimenting with this.

- Supercolour (red and orange)
- Flat foundation brush
- Masking tape
