Evaluation: Digital Production
During the last semester and completing the unit of ‘The
Perfect Base’ I believe by the comments given that I had a good understanding
of the brief equaling me to producing ‘unique quality’ shots. I produced six
images in total; black and white images representing strong women in a relaxed
form and coloured images representing strong independent working women. However
even though most of my final outcome images were commented as nicely shot one
image was slightly distorted as I may have shot with a too big of a camera lens,
therefore to improve for this semester I will make sure I have checked thoroughly
that my images are to the highest of quality. Also when photographing my next
shoot I will assure that all my equipment is properly set and up to the correct
standard that are meant to be met. It was also stated that I had produce a good
level of research and presented my work to a great standard but to improve for
the next unit I wish to higher these standards even higher. I wish to do this
by researching even further into my inspirational word and produce more test
shoots to show my progression in my thoughts of research and also by planning
out my time better I will hope to have a final outcome that is to the best of
my ability with this level of still that I have been taught.
I wish with this
unit to research more into previous advertisement that will be similar to the
ideas that I have at this current stage and therefore this may help me get
inspiration for further ideas. By having this better insight to previous
adverts I know this can help me in having a understanding the industry better.
Overall, I believe that I produced good quality images, had a good
understanding of the brief and research the unit well but for this unit I wish
to improve on these to a higher level making this units work an overall higher
quality.
